The California School Health Centers Association will host their annual statewide conference, Vision & Voice for Health Students, this year on March 14-15 at the Westin Hotel in Long Beach, CA. CSCi’s team will explore the exciting and expansive roles of School Health Services within a Full Service School approach in their workshop Maximizing the School Health Center’s Roles in Full Service Community School. On February 28th the City of San Pablo, West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD), Contra Costa County and the Center for Strategic Community Innovation (CSCi) will host a San Pablo Community Schools Forum.The Forum represents an opportunity to learn more about the San Pablo Full Service Community Schools Initiative, as well as how to get involved in the collaborative planning effort moving forward. Speakers will include Supervisor John Gioia, Mayor Genoveva Calloway, WCCUSD School Board trustee Elaine Merriweather, Superintendent Dr. Bruce Harter, and more. For more information contact Kendall.
