Working Sessions Invitation

On May 7th and 14th, the Center for Strategic Community Innovation (CSCi) will host the Bay Area Community Schools Network 2013 Full Service Community Schools Working Sessions: Community Engagement in Community Schools at the California Endowment in Oakland, CA. The Community Engagement Working Sessions aim to deepen our understanding of community engagement within the context of Full Service Community Schools. In these sessions we will explore the rationale, principles, methodologies and strategies of effective community engagement with hands on activities and opportunities for planning. The working sessions provide a continuing opportunity to network, dialogue and learn from others in the field, and form relationships with key partners in your communities. Working Sessions Overview
The Goal of the 2013 working sessions is to deepen our understanding of community engagement within the context of Full Service Community Schools. In these sessions we will explore the rationale, principles, methodologies and strategies of effective community engagement with hands on activities and opportunities for planning.

The working sessions provide a continuing opportunity to network, dialogue and learn from others in the field, and form relationships with key partners in your communities.

Who Should Attend?
School District Leadership, aspiring and existing community school staff, community-based organization leaders and staff, faith-based partners, business partners, parent leaders, and city and county government officials invested in community-school partnerships and student success. Teams strongly encouraged.
